USVP owns the newest machining equipment fleet allowing having a full production cycle of main valve components at the facility that includes turning and drilling machines, vertical machining centers, band saw machines; radial drilling machines and spherical grinding machines.
Ball manufacturing is unique because:
The cladding equipment consists of semi-automatic and automatic welding/cladding systems. The equipment applies corrosion-resistant coating to the ball valve components contacting with aggressive chemical medium.
The equipment system applies wear-resistant coating (tungsten carbide) by high-velocity oxygen fuel spraying. The ball valve components may reach surface hardness above 1100 HV what is necessary for manufacturing metal-to-metal products.
A testing equipment system includes hydraulic test benches and a test bench for gas and cryogenic testing. The equipment enables testing products with wide range of operating fluids.
Product surfaces are treated before shipping. The equipment fleet includes cleaning, washing, painting and drying chambers. Due to the equipment application type and the Customer's requirements, different coating types may be applied, such as painting, strengthening coatings for underground installation, etc.
During the valves manufacture, the quality inspection of raw materials, semi-finished products, components and finished products is performed at all production stages that allows USVP to produce high-precision products.
